Building a District that Cares for All: DC Democratic Mayor and At-Large Councilmember Candidate Forum

March 29 @ 2:30 pm - 5:00 pm EDT

Building a District that Cares for All: DC Democratic Mayor and At-Large Councilmember Candidate Forum

The 2026 election will be a defining moment for the District. For the first time in 12 years, voters will elect a new mayor alongside new councilmembers, and their decisions will shape the future of our city for the next generation.

That’s why we need them to hear from you. From the programs and services that families and workers rely on every day — such as accessing medical care and paid family leave, bonding with a new child or caring for ourselves and our families when sick, protecting workers who provide care, and ensuring families have access to affordable child care and afterschool programs — we want to learn where they stand on the issues and hear about your priorities.

Join DC Action, DC Jobs with Justice, Under 3 DC, and a growing list of sponsors to hear from the Democratic candidates running for Mayor and At-Large Councilmember about how they will make DC a more caring place.

Date & Time: Sunday March 29 | Doors open at 2:30PM with the forum from 3:00PM – 5:00PM
Location:
Festival Center – 1640 Columbia Rd NW.

Child care and interpretation will be available.
