The Celebrate Petworth Festival is held on the 800 block of Upshur Street NW in Washington, D.C.’s Petworth neighborhood. The festival is a day-long celebration of community that includes music, arts, kids’ activities, and healthy living. It also features local vendors and artists, food, and participating businesses.
The 2024 Celebrate Petworth Festival will take place on Saturday, September 14, from 11 AM–5 PM.

The festival will include:
Main stage: Live music and entertainment from local performers
Vendors: Over 40 vendors and exhibitors with art, food, and crafts
Dog show: A major hit of the festival

The festival was started in 2014 by a group of community organizers led by Tom Pipkin. The festival’s goal is to bring together residents, local businesses, and community-based organizations.
