DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: UNDERSTANDING AND PREVENTING THIS ADVERSE CHILD EXPERIENCE (ACE)

In observance of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, Sasha Bruce, DC SAFE, the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, the District of Columbia Public Schools, and the District of Columbia Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants invite you to join us for a Domestic Violence Awareness Month panel discussion.
Domestic Violence is an Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE) that negatively impacts a child’s social, emotional, and physical well-being. During this panel, you will learn about the prevalence of and behaviors associated with intimate partner violence among teens. In addition, you will learn about resources, prevention, and intervention strategies to protect children and their families.
